Golmud to DunHuang
We spend one long day riding to Dunhuang in a much warmer weather, landscape changes toGobi desert, take a highway to Dunhuang. Dunhuang is one of the most important trading post and cultural center on the ancient silk road.

Tuotuohe to Golmud
We spend one long day riding to Golmud,
Golmud is at lower altitude and temperate gets warmer. The final stretch can be long with busy traffic of trucks. Landscape get totally changed to drier gobi.

Thursday Everest bc to Shigatse
Wake up the the glorious sun rise on Everest, wetake the Eco bus back to our bikes and back track to Tingri for lunch. After wards we ride to Shigatse for a night.
Shigatse is the second largest city in Tibet and also a great place to rest and dine.

Tuesday Gyantse to Lhatse
Departure for Lhatse, we shall first visit the Sakya Monastery which is a very unique and less visit Sakyapa Sect Temple, after lunch we head for Lhatse. Ride 277km

We are going to see Sakya Monastery, which is located at the foot of Benbo Mountain in Sakya County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region. It is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Sakya sect and also the main temple of the Sakya sect, which once played an important role in history.
The admission fee is 60.00/person.
Day 11 April 28 Monday Lhasa to Gyantse
Ride to 4900m Gambala Pass and see very nice view above the Yamdrok Lake with background of Ninkin kangsar Mountain (7111m) and visit the ancient Fortress in Gyantse in the afternoon.

We plan to leave hotel at 8:00a.m.
As the winding road gradually ascends until this point, we can see Yamdrok Lake. You can take photos and enjoy the beautiful scenery here. If you want to enter the viewing platform to park and take photos, an entrance fee will be charged, which is 80 yuan per person. It is recommended that you park in a safe place, take some quick photos and then continue driving forward.
