A day in Dushanbe

Last day on the Pamir Highway, on the way to Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.

Another day on the Pamir Highway. On the broken road along the border to Afghanistan from Khorog to Doshtag.

Decided to take the direct route along the original Pamir Highway to Khorog yesterday and enjoy a rest day in Khorog after a long punishing drive on one of the most challenging roads yesterday.

Driving from Murgabh to the Wakhan Valley, with Yamchun Ford the next overnight destination.

Well, so was the plan. Decided to go straight to Khorog instead via the road to The Wakhan Valley.

It was a long day on bad roads, but the team arrived and was all good.
